About Graphmasters GmbH

This technology NUNAV is essentially a car navigation system which calculates routes in our server cloud and sends these routes back to the navigation device.

The challenge

The navigation system uses GPS to determine the current position and track the car. Because NUNAV calculates routes in a central system, it knows the routes of all participating cars and can thus distribute the traffic optimally.

This routing feature can then be incorporated into existing navigation systems as well as been sold as a smartphone application.

The solution

Graphmasters is hosted at ESA Business Incubation Centre (BIC) Darmstadt, run by the German company cesah. This has provided the opportunity to consult ESA experts who have supported with technology insights and ideas to improve the system.

In addition, especially the support provided by cesah in relation to general business activities has been very helpful.
