The challenge
Modern travel cots are heavy and difficult to transport, making travelling around with them challenging for many parents. Due to the weight and design of the current structure, the travel cots are time consuming to put up.
The solution
ESA BIC Harwell alumni Oxford Space Structures is using technology developed for ESA’s Alphasat mission to deploy satellites in space, to exploit this gap in the market by creating an innovative, lightweight and easy to build travel cot.
