About ESA BIC Lazio

The ESA Business Incubation Centre (BIC) Lazio in Italy was founded in 2005, today managed by the Italian company Lazio Innova, an in-house company of the local Government of Regione Lazio, which acquired BIC Lazio at the end of 2017. Lazio Innova represents the unique regional interlocutor for companies, start-ups, local authorities, the world of research, professionals and citizens for innovation, the granting of subsidies and financing, the promotion of entrepreneurship and, more in general, the economic development of Lazio.
ESA BIC Lazio allows startups and young entrepreneurs to exploit the opportunity to carry out innovative entrepreneurial projects based on the use of space technology and data, in a highly scientific, stimulating and creative environment, relying on the technical support of ESA and ASI (Italian Space Agency) experts and on a specialized tutorship and mentorship service by Lazio Innova for the development of the business idea.
It is located at the Open Innovation Hub in Rome Tecnopolo, Italy, which is situated near the European Space Research Institute (ESRIN) in Frascati, Italy.
