ESA BIC Sud France is managed by Aerospace Valley
Aerospace Valley is a non-profit association, created on July 13th, 2005 to develop the competitiveness of the aeronautics, space and embedded systems cluster of Midi-Pyrenees & Aquitaine at the national, European and international level. The French government classified Aerospace Valley as a world competitiveness cluster on July 12th, 2005. Aerospace Valley is the coordinator on this project. With over 600 members, including 300 SMEs, the cluster brings together companies, research centres, education and training establishments and institutions related to the sector in both regions. In the frame of the new contract 2013-2019 signed with the French government and the regions, Aerospace Valley has put creation of new companies on top of the cluster's priorities.
ESA BIC Sud France is supported by CNES

ESA BIC Sud France is also supported by SAFE
Newcomer in the community of European clusters, SAFE (Security and Aerospace actors for the Future of Earth), was created from the merger of two clusters; the first, dedicated to aerospace industry and the other to Risk Management. Its ambition: to become the European reference network for innovative security solutions. To achieve this goal, SAFE has developed innovative actions to accompany growth and innovation.

The SAFE Cluster network gathers companies and research and training organizations, mainly from the areas of security, environmental protection and aerospace industry but also, insurance companies, banks, and especially clients (civil security services, cities...) that make SAFE Cluster :

  • the network which gets together suppliers and security solution customers
  • the cluster where new business models are invented

To support the development of member companies, SAFE Cluster offers different action plans "network", "business" and "growth" with a wide panel of actions ranging from the emergence of projects in search of technological and financial partners to international development
