About I-SEA

I-SEA is a spin-off of Geo-Transfert (Technology transfer unit of the Bordeaux University and the ADERA). The BALIST service can provide bathymetric charts worldwide from satellite remote sensing data to be used by coastal end users (scientists, stakeholders, and industrial companies).

The challenge

The first version of I-SEA BALIST 2 project (BAthymetrie LIttorale par SaTellite 2) was formerly awarded by the Astrium Radar Challenge during the 2012 GMES Masters due to its innovative aspect and relevance with regards to Copernicus services.
