The challenge
Their current UAV, named SB-4 Phoenix, takes advantages of the last state-of-the-art solar cells, and thus can fly at least 8+ hours during the day. A large range of applications is accessible by this technology : precision agriculture, observation, thermal detection and many others upcoming. Thanks to the use of solar renewable energy, these drones are amongst the most respectful towards the environment. SunBirds wants to reach, not only European market, but also African and American markets.
