ESA BIC Harwell provides a unique opportunity to access world class scientific facilities and research over 3 sites across the UK. All 3 locations have their own unique environment. Harwell Campus in Oxfordshire is home to internationally renowned space science department RAL Space, the Diamond Light Source, the ESA Centre and Satellite Applications Catapult. SciTec Daresbury located North of the UK in Cheshire is where you will find STFC's Hartree Centre, the high performance computing, big data and cognitive technology. The third location is at the the Royal Observatory in Edinburgh, Scotland where the UK Astronomy Technology Centre is located.

The ESA Business Incubation Centre Harwell, started its operations in 2011 and is managed by the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC).
It is now located over 3 world leading science, technology and business campuses and sites in South Oxfordshire, Cheshire & Edinburgh with over 4,500 researchers, engineers and innovators from over 150 high-tech organisations, and a focal point and cluster for the UK’s rapidly growing high-tech space community.
